I’m pretty excited to finally share ‘Find Time for Tea’ with you. It’s a custom wordpress design for one of my clients living in Switzerland. When I asked Kimberly what she had in mind for the new look, she replied with “I drink too much tea, often out of proper tea cups. I want readers to feel as if I’ve invited them into a calm, welcome, safe space and offered them a warm drink and a listening ear.” I loved this idea- as I have had previous clients say similar things about wanting their readers to grab a cup of coffee or tea and stay for a while. The fun thing about this design was that I could incorporate a cute little teacup design to really drive home her vision. Of course I also love the color palette- it reminds me of sweet french pastries (macarons, anyone?), delicious teas, and my teacup-filled wonderland wedding. How could I not adore it? Be sure to stop by Kimberly’s lovely new space on the web and say hello.
Interior Designer, Cathy Wolfram, contacted me for a unique design for her upcoming site, Adore Your Place. She had many specifics, and was looking for a custom design featuring daily posts, custom menus, social media links, a subscribe feature, search, browse, advertising, sponsors, as much more. It was actually the first time that I was asked to only provide the design, as she already had a developer limed up for the programming part. We spent a lo of time perfecting all of the elements of her website, and even changed things back and forth a few times until we felt it was perfect. Adore Your Place is a blog that is meant to ‘ inspire you to adore interior design and the world around it, all while helping you achieve design bliss’. Cathy was another great client, and I look forward to seeing her blog grow readership and encourage others to truly adore their place. Head over to Adore Your Place to get inspired!
