Ok, so I’m sure you’ve seen all the hype about ornament wreaths on every other blog that you read, but I’m still going to remind you how pretty they are! I finally got motivated and made one this year, and I love it. I used this simple tutorial to create it. Guess what the hardest part was? Finding a wire coat hanger! lol I had to actually go to a local cleaners to get one.
I also hit up a few garage sales, and scored a 40″ mirror for $10.00. I am so excited, because not only have I been on the lookout for one, but it matches my fluted columns and mantle! It was an ugly, peeling brown color, so of course I had to paint it white =) Dax was very interested in seeing his reflection in such a large mirror (which he calls ‘The Wheel’), and I had to snap some shots. I loved one of the photos so much that I turned it into our Christmas card. What do you think??
We finally got the beast of a mirror hung last night- and omg, it is heavy!!! My mantle is almost finished too, I’m just waiting on our new stockings to arrive from Pottery Barn.
And here is our very big and very bright tree!
Are you working on any Christmas-y projects?
