I’m still not sure what to be for Halloween, or even if I’m dressing up- but I dressed up as the Queen of Hearts a few years ago and it was a lot of fun! I made a heart wand out of a dowel rod, a heart shaped styrofoam and red glitter. When I buy a costume, I still like to do something to personalize it a bit. Are you this way too?
My best friend loves the color red, and I always have Alice in Wonderland on my mind (it’s weird how everything reminds me of it!)- so I thought I’d put together a Red Queen mood board for you to enjoy. Heck, it may even inspire you to dress up as the Red Queen for Halloween. I won’t be in anything quite as sexy, but hopefully I can figure something out! Just b/c I’m approaching 30 does not mean I’m giving up on dressing up. Halloween (followed by Mardi Gras) has always been my favorite holiday. Luckily Dax’s birthday gives me a reason to throw a party every year now! It may have to be more kid-friendly, but I’m still planning on it being fun. And that’s the point, right?
