Hi everyone! Today I’m pleased to show you two of my recent blog designs, and I really love them. I know , I know- I say this about all of my projects it seems, but for some reason I’ve grown a bit attached to these designs. Maybe you’ll see what I mean…
Before I even get into the design aspects of this blog, let me tell you about the blog owner, Piper. As you may know I love the name Piper (and even named my puppy Piper!)- so I was immediately excited to work with ‘Pip’. She has two daughters, Coco(nut) & Elly(bean), so Coconut & Bean is just perfect for the title, don’t you think? Piper approached me with some great ideas for the design, focusing on a clean and contemporary look with fresh pops of color. She described what she wanted very well, and the design process was quick (almost too quick!) for us. I think I enjoyed this project because I’m so drawn to minimal/white background designs. The fonts really work well together too- creating a balance of modern and sweet. Head on over to check out Piper’s great new blog.
Imperfect Perfection is one of those projects that I’m just downright proud of. The blog owner, Tiffany, sent over a lot of ideas and some reference websites that she liked- but the thing that I loved the most was the color palette she had in mind. The gray and yellow combination is very popular right now, and I can see why- it’s lovely! We went back and forth with some small edits until it was perfect for Tiffany, and she really had some great suggestions. It’s so nice to work with a client that makes my design better, just by expressing their thoughts on minor things. Since the design just went up, it may be a couple of days before things get rolling- but be sure to check out Imperfect Perfection when you get a chance ;)
Happy Friday + Weekend to you!
