Father’s day is upon us again, and I thought I’d share some fun DIY projects for good ol’ dad. (Or hubby!) I still love receiving handmade goods, even though I rarely do. Maybe you might be in the mood to make something special for dad, instead of dishing out the moola to buy manufactured Father’s Day gifts. I’ll be honest- I bought my husband a surround sound for Father’s Day- ha! But, I still have a special hand-made item up my sleeve =)
Whew! Where to begin? I have found some really neat DIY gifts for Dad, so here we goo..
1. Lego USB Stick
Yep, that’s right. An old time favorite toy combined with something all computer savvy dad’s must have! This one is a bit more complicated to make, but Hey- You can do it!
2. Super Hero Gift Box
I love this! All guys love food, so why not wrap it up nice and put a humorous spin on it? Make dad feel like a superhero!
3. USB Grass Charging Station
So…cute!! I could see this going over well with the dad’s who like to be out in the yard or own a landscaping business.
4. Shirt & Tie Gift Box
So maybe you bought Dad something relatively small for Father’s Day- make this cute little box to hide it in!
5. Coin Cufflinks
Super easy to make! Great for those coin collecting Dad’s. Or simply Dad’s who love money =)
6. Computer Keyboard Wallet
Speaking of money, Dad’s geeky friends will be jealous when he busts this out to grab some cash!
7. Daddy Cam
Great for Dad’s office, and perfect for the photographer/dad in your life.
8. Shirt Pocket Card
Every Daddy needs a card for Father’s Day, and this one is at the top of my list.
9. Tee-Time Cupcakes
A super sweet treat for the golf loving Dad.
10. Personalized Necktie
If my Dad wore ties, I’d be all over this…
And there you have it! Now get to craftin’ =)
Hope you enjoy a wonderful Father’s Day with the special Dads in your life!
